Phoenix Paddy, who is trained by 2004 Greyhound Derby winning handler, Ian Reilly, is said to be in good heart after an impressive first round demolition of Geordie Parker and will have plenty of support.
Fear Haribo put in a moderate run behind Droopys Tobey in the first round but can be expected to improve while Westmead Lord also disappointed in the opening round but can be expected to improve on what was only his second competitive race at the Greyhound Derby venue (Plough Lane).
A half-brother to retired champion Westmead Hawk, he is sure to be popular in the greyhound betting, if he secures safe passage through to the next round of the Greyhound Derby.
