The new year kicks off with the PDC Darts World Championship final from Purfleet on New Year's Day, with the BDO equivalent taking place a couple of weeks later. A great month of cricket sees England and Australia contest the final Test of the Ashes in Sydney before meeting again in the Tri-Nations one-day series along with New Zealand. In football, the FA Cup 3rd and 4th rounds and Carling Cup semi-finals take place, whilst snooker fans have both The Masters from Wembley and the Malta Cup to enjoy. more

March is an exciting month for football with the Champions' League last 16 2nd legs, the FA Cup quarter finals and some vital Euro 2008 qualifiers. The Six Nations continues with both England v France and Wales v England, the 2007 Formula 1 season gets under way with the Australian GP and the biggest event in horse racing, The Cheltenham Festival takes place with highlights including The Cheltenham Gold Cup, Queen Mother Champions Chase and the Triumph Hurdle. more

May sees the conclusion to the 2006/07 football season with the Champions' League final, the UEFA Cup final, the FA Cup final and the final day of the Premiership. Horse racing highlights include the 1000 Guineas and 2000 Guineas from Newmarket, the May Festival at Chester and the Dante Meeting at York. The French Open tennis from Roland Garros takes place from May 27th - June 10th and in F1, the famous Monaco Grand Prix is held. more

The cricket action continues in July with the first Test Match between England v India, England v West Indies ODIs and the climax of the Twenty 20 series. July also sees the world-famous Tour De France (7th-29th), the Challenge Cup Semi-Finals in Rugby League, the French and British Grand Prixs in Formula One, there is darts action from the Vegas Desert Classic and the World Matchplay and in golf, the 136th Open Championship. more

The football action continues in September with more crucial games in the race to qualify for the European Championships in 2008. In horse racing, the St Leger takes place from Doncaster and in cricket the fifth, sixth and seventh One Day Internationals take place between England and India. There is more Formula One action in the form of the Italian and Chinese Grand Prixs and in Rugby Union, the World Cup group stages. more

November sees plenty of exciting sporting action with tennis from the WTA Sony Ericsson Tour Championships in Madrid, the ATP Masters Cup from Shanghai and the Davis Cup final on November 30th. It's another great month for football with some huge Premiership matches as well as action from the UEFA Cup, Carling Cup and the Champions' League. The Volvo Masters golf also takes place between the 1st and 4th of the month. more

This month's football action includes the Scottish Cup quarter-finals, FA Cup 5th round, UEFA Cup and the return of the Champions League for the last 16 knockout fixtures, as well as the Carling Cup final at the end of the month. In Rugby Union, The Six Nations gets under way with the huge England v Scotland clash, whilst Rugby League's Challenge Cup also gets underway. The WGC-Accenture Match Play see the the world's top 64 golfers competing in Tucson, and there's also the Norway Rally. more

Football fans have the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final as well as quarter-finals and semi-finals in both the Champions League and UEFA Cup. The snooker World Championship is amongst April's highlights, and there is also the US Masters golf. The Davis Cup reaches the quarter-final stage, and who could forget one of the sporting highlights of the year, the Grand National from Aintree as well as the Scottish Grand National. Formula One visits the middle-east for the Bahrain GP. more

June is another fantastic month for horse racing with the Oaks and the Derby from Epsom on June 1st and 2nd respectively, Royal Ascot starting on the 19th and the Northumberland Plate. In football there are more vital Euro 2008 qualifiers and in cricket there is England v West Indies in both the third and fourth Test matches and Twenty 20 internationals. Other highlights include the Blue Square UK Open darts and tennis Wimbledon. more

October is another fantastic sporting month with the Rugby Union World Cup entering its exciting knockout stages and the Super League Grand Final in Rugby League. The horse racing highlight of the month comes from the Cambridgeshire Meeting at Newmarket on the 4th, while there is Formula One action from the Brazilian and Japanese Grand Prixs, the World Matchplay Championship golf and the World Grand Prix darts. more

The year concludes with a cracking lineup of sport in December, including the PDC Darts World Championship from Purfleet.
