The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT), sponsored by Blue Square Poker, is taking place at 10 different Grosvenor Casinos and is the largest UK-based poker tour ever staged. Grosvenor casinos have been the major provider of live poker in the UK for several years. With 21 card rooms across the country and an established festival circuit, Grosvenor is at the forefront of the UK poker scene and the natural home for a UK poker tour.

The GUKPT is an exciting series of 11 major poker tournaments, each taking place as the main event of an existing Grosvenor Poker Festival. Each event will be televised and broadcast in the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2007 on Channel 4.

Substantial added prize money, TV coverage and good deep stacked structured tournaments are the hallmarks of each event.

The winner of each of the first 10 £1,000 events will also win a seat in the £3,000 Grand Final, to be staged in December at the Victoria casino in London, followed by an end of Tour Christmas party and Awards Ceremony.

In addition to winning big money, the top finishing players in each tournament will receive points and a place on the GUKPT Leaderboard. At the end of the year, the top ranked players on the Leaderboard will receive cash prizes and the overall leader will be declared the GUKPT Player of the Year.
